Westerby Trustees at the Leicester Business Festival

November 2, 2016

Westerby Investment Management and Westerby The Pension Specialist were proud to be part of the Leicester Business Festival events this week, hosting a presentation on the benefits of Small and Medium sized companies investing in their own commercial premises through Self-Administered Pensions.

The morning was a great success as speak Ian Jarvis, Business Development Director for Westerby The Pension Specialist, guided the audience through the basics of commercial property purchases using pension funds and what can, and cannot be achieved within HMRC rules. The presentation included informative case studies.

Colin Hopewell, Senior Financial Consultant for Westerby Investment Management, outlined the advisory aspects of retirement and death benefits following ground-breaking changes to pensions introduced in 2015.

Ian and Colin will be presenting at similar events over the coming months and welcome contact from business owners looking to use their pension funds for commercial property purchase. If you would like to learn more, please contact either Ian or Colin for details of upcoming presentations or to arrange a meeting.
